Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Personal Guitar Trainer website, programs, services, communities, coaching, practice routines, calls, feedback, lessons, and related offerings.

For the purposes of these Terms, “Personal Guitar Trainer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Personal Guitar Trainer, operated by Brandon D’Eon Music Inc., a Canadian company and the company behind 52 Week Guitar Player.

By using our website, applying for Personal Guitar Trainer, booking a call, joining a trial, purchasing a membership, accessing our community, submitting practice videos, purchasing lessons, participating in lessons, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

Personal Guitar Trainer is an online guitar coaching and practice-planning service.

Depending on the offer you purchase or join, our services may include:

  • Guitar playing assessment

  • Onboarding calls or assessment calls

  • Personalized weekly practice routines

  • Teacher feedback

  • Progress review

  • Accountability

  • Email communication

  • Community access

  • Access to related 52 Week Guitar Player resources, where applicable

  • Optional one-on-one guitar lessons

  • Optional prepaid lesson packages

  • Other coaching, educational, or support services related to guitar playing

The exact features, pricing, payment terms, trial details, lesson details, and included services will be described on the applicable sales page, checkout page, agreement, invoice, or communication from our team.

2. Eligibility

Personal Guitar Trainer is intended primarily for adults.

You must be at least the age of majority in your location to purchase our services on your own. If you are under the age of majority, you may only use our services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly provide services to children under 13.

3. Applications, Calls, and Onboarding

Before you become a customer, we may ask you to provide information about your guitar playing, goals, experience level, schedule, and contact details.

We may use this information to:

  • Determine whether Personal Guitar Trainer is a good fit

  • Coordinate calls or meetings

  • Prepare for onboarding

  • Assess your playing

  • Explain the program

  • Answer questions

  • Recommend a plan or next step

Submitting an application, booking a call, attending a Zoom meeting, or starting a trial does not guarantee acceptance into the program or continued access to the program.

We reserve the right to decline service to anyone if we believe the program is not a good fit, if availability is limited, or for any other lawful reason.

4. Promotional Content and Teacher Access

Personal Guitar Trainer may be promoted by our company, team members, teachers, affiliates, partners, or other representatives.

Unless expressly stated in writing, purchasing or joining Personal Guitar Trainer does not guarantee direct coaching, feedback, calls, messaging, or personal access to any specific person shown in promotional content.

Personal Guitar Trainer is delivered by our teaching team. Students are matched with a teacher based on availability, student needs, scheduling, experience level, and business discretion.

We may assign, reassign, or change teachers, coaches, moderators, or support team members at our discretion.

5. Payment and Billing

Personal Guitar Trainer is currently billed at $595 USD per month, unless a different price, currency, billing schedule, or payment arrangement is stated on the applicable checkout page, sales page, invoice, agreement, or written offer.

We may also offer annual billing, promotional pricing, custom payment arrangements, free trials, lessons, lesson packages, or other offers from time to time.

Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment processor. By making a purchase or starting a trial that requires payment information, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us or our payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the billing terms shown at checkout or otherwise agreed in writing.

Depending on the offer, payments may be one-time, monthly, annual, installment-based, subscription-based, or package-based.

If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges until your subscription is cancelled according to the cancellation terms that apply to your purchase.

You are responsible for ensuring your billing information is accurate and up to date.

6. Free Trials

We may offer free trials from time to time.

Unless otherwise stated, a valid payment method is required to start a free trial.

By starting a free trial and providing payment information, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method when the trial period ends, unless you cancel before the end of the trial.

The trial length, included services, billing start date, subscription price, and cancellation instructions will be shown on the applicable checkout page, sales page, or written offer.

If you cancel before the end of the free trial, you will not be charged.

If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial, your membership will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout.

We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue free trials at any time.

7. Monthly Memberships

Monthly memberships are designed to provide more flexibility than annual memberships.

Your billing date is based on the date your paid membership begins.

For example, if your paid membership begins on January 1, your next monthly billing date would normally be February 1.

You may request cancellation before your next billing date to prevent future monthly charges.

If you cancel during an active monthly billing period, refund eligibility will be handled according to our Refund Policy.

8. Annual Memberships

We may offer annual memberships from time to time.

Annual memberships are paid upfront for a one-year membership term unless a different term is stated on the applicable checkout page, sales page, invoice, agreement, or written offer.

Annual billing may include a discount compared to monthly billing. This discount is offered in exchange for a longer upfront commitment.

Because annual memberships are discounted upfront commitments, annual payments are generally non-refundable after the annual term begins, except where required by applicable law or where we approve an exception in writing.

If you cancel an annual membership during the annual term, cancellation prevents future renewal but does not automatically entitle you to a prorated refund.

In certain situations, we may choose to offer a pause, extension, account credit, teacher change, partial refund, or other reasonable accommodation at our discretion.

9. Lessons

We may offer one-on-one guitar lessons as an optional add-on for students enrolled in Personal Guitar Trainer.

Lessons are not generally offered as a standalone service to non-students. To purchase or participate in lessons, you must be enrolled in Personal Guitar Trainer unless we approve an exception in writing.

Lessons may be sold individually where offered, or in prepaid lesson packages, such as 12-lesson packs or 24-lesson packs. Each lesson is typically 45 minutes unless a different lesson length is stated on the applicable checkout page, sales page, invoice, agreement, or written offer.

If you purchase a lesson package, you are purchasing the number of lessons stated at checkout or in the applicable written offer. For example, if you purchase a 12-lesson package, you receive access to 12 one-on-one lessons, subject to these Terms, our Refund Policy, and any scheduling or cancellation rules that apply.

Lesson packages are for personal use only and may not be transferred, resold, shared, or assigned to another person unless we approve it in writing.

Lessons are educational services. We do not guarantee that you will achieve a specific result, master a specific song, learn a specific technique, or reach a specific level within a specific number of lessons.

10. Lesson Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Missed Lessons

You are responsible for attending scheduled lessons on time.

Lesson scheduling is subject to teacher availability, student availability, time zones, holidays, technical issues, and other scheduling factors.

If you need to reschedule a lesson, you should notify your teacher or our team as soon as possible.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a lesson.

If you miss a scheduled lesson, arrive too late for the lesson to reasonably proceed, or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the lesson may be counted as used and may not be rescheduled or refunded.

We may make exceptions at our discretion for emergencies, illness, technical issues, or other reasonable circumstances.

If a teacher needs to reschedule a lesson, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the lesson or provide another suitable arrangement.

11. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may attempt to process the payment again.

If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend or terminate your access to Personal Guitar Trainer, practice routines, teacher feedback, lessons, community access, or related services until the outstanding amount is paid.

You remain responsible for any amounts owed.

12. Cancellations

You may request cancellation by contacting us at:

info@52weekguitarplayer.com

You may also request cancellation by notifying your assigned teacher in writing.

For clarity, cancellation requests should be made in writing, such as by email, direct message, or another written communication method used for the program. This helps us confirm the date of your request and avoid confusion.

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not automatically create a refund for amounts already paid.

To avoid future billing, cancellation requests should be submitted before the next scheduled billing date or before the end of your free trial, as applicable.

Cancellation requests are effective once they are received and processed by our team.

13. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

In general, we do not provide refunds for past billing periods that have already been completed.

For monthly memberships, if you cancel during an active monthly billing period, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current monthly billing period only, as described in our Refund Policy.

For annual memberships, annual payments are generally non-refundable after the annual term begins because annual billing is a discounted upfront commitment. Any pause, extension, credit, teacher change, partial refund, or other accommodation is handled at our discretion unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

For lessons and lesson packages, used lessons are non-refundable. Missed lessons, late cancellations, or lessons cancelled with insufficient notice may be counted as used, as described in these Terms and our Refund Policy.

We do not provide refunds for missed practice days, missed calls, missed lessons, failure to submit progress videos, lack of participation, failure to complete routines, failure to communicate with your teacher, failure to use the service, or unused time from previous billing periods.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Pauses, Freezes, and Extensions

We understand that illness, injury, travel, family issues, work demands, or other life events may temporarily prevent a student from practicing or participating.

If you are unable to participate for a period of time, contact us as soon as possible.

At our discretion, we may offer one of the following:

  • A temporary pause or freeze

  • An extension of your membership term

  • Account credit

  • A modified practice plan

  • A teacher change

  • A lesson package extension

  • Another reasonable accommodation

Pauses, freezes, extensions, credits, and accommodations are not guaranteed and must be approved by us in writing.

A pause, freeze, extension, or accommodation does not automatically create a refund unless we agree to that in writing.

15. Physical Safety and Practice-Related Risk

Personal Guitar Trainer provides guitar education, practice planning, feedback, accountability, and lessons. Guitar practice can involve repetitive movements of the hands, wrists, fingers, arms, shoulders, neck, and back.

You understand that extended or improper practice may involve physical risks, including discomfort, soreness, fatigue, repetitive strain, tendon irritation, wrist pain, hand pain, shoulder pain, or other physical issues.

You are responsible for monitoring your own body while practicing. You agree to stop practicing and seek appropriate medical advice if you experience pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, swelling, loss of mobility, unusual discomfort, or any symptoms that concern you.

You agree not to continue a routine, exercise, technique, tempo, duration, lesson assignment, or practice assignment if it causes pain or feels unsafe for you.

You are responsible for telling your teacher or our team promptly if a routine, lesson assignment, exercise, or practice plan feels too difficult, too intense, physically uncomfortable, painful, or unsuitable for your current ability, schedule, or physical condition.

Our teachers may adjust routines and lesson assignments based on the information you provide, but they are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose, treat, prevent, or rehabilitate injuries.

Personal Guitar Trainer is not a substitute for medical advice, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or care from a qualified health professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that you participate in guitar practice, lessons, and related activities at your own risk.

16. No Guaranteed Results

Personal Guitar Trainer is designed to help students improve their guitar playing through structured practice routines, feedback, accountability, and optional lessons.

However, your results depend on many factors, including your starting point, practice consistency, effort, schedule, musical background, physical ability, communication, and willingness to follow the routines or lesson assignments.

We do not guarantee that you will reach a specific playing level, learn a specific song, master a specific technique, achieve a specific result, or improve within a specific timeframe.

Testimonials, examples, or student results are not guarantees that you will achieve the same or similar results.

17. Student Responsibilities

To get the most out of Personal Guitar Trainer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about your goals, playing level, schedule, experience, and limitations

  • Completing assigned practice routines to the best of your ability

  • Attending scheduled lessons on time, where applicable

  • Submitting progress videos or updates when requested

  • Communicating honestly with your teacher or our team

  • Asking questions when you are confused

  • Asking for clarification before continuing if a routine, exercise, tempo, technique, lesson assignment, or instruction is unclear

  • Telling your teacher promptly if a routine, lesson assignment, or exercise feels too difficult, too intense, painful, uncomfortable, or unsuitable

  • Stopping practice if you experience pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, swelling, loss of mobility, unusual discomfort, or symptoms that concern you

  • Maintaining respectful communication

  • Using the service consistently

We are not responsible for lack of progress, discomfort, injury, or other issues caused by failure to participate appropriately, failure to communicate, failure to follow instructions, failure to ask for clarification, ignoring pain or discomfort, over-practicing, using improper technique outside our guidance, or continuing to practice when something feels unsafe.

18. Practice Routines, Lessons, and Feedback

Practice routines are personalized educational recommendations based on the information available to us.

Lessons are personalized educational sessions based on the information available to us and the student’s goals, level, progress, and communication.

We may adjust routines, lesson assignments, and feedback over time based on your progress, submissions, goals, lesson attendance, teacher observations, and teacher feedback.

Teacher feedback may be provided through email, community comments, video responses, written notes, Zoom calls, lessons, or other communication methods.

We aim to provide a high-quality student experience, but response times, feedback format, lesson availability, teacher availability, and routine delivery may vary depending on the offer, workload, holidays, time zones, scheduling availability, and other business factors.

19. Teacher Assignments and Teacher Changes

We may assign, reassign, or change teachers, coaches, moderators, or support team members at our discretion.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide a quality student experience, but we do not guarantee access to a specific teacher unless that is expressly stated in writing.

If your assigned teacher becomes unavailable, leaves, or is no longer able to continue working with you, we may assign you to another teacher.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide a smooth transition and maintain the quality of your experience.

If your teacher changes and the new teacher arrangement does not work for you, contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a teacher change, pause, extension, account credit, lesson package extension, partial refund, or another reasonable accommodation at our discretion.

20. Zoom Calls and Recordings

We may use Zoom or similar tools for onboarding, assessment, sales, support, coaching, or lesson-related calls.

Some calls or lessons may be recorded. If a call or lesson is recorded, Zoom or the applicable platform may notify you when you join.

Recordings may be used for onboarding, coaching, assessment, lessons, internal review, support, training, quality assurance, or recordkeeping.

By participating in a recorded call or lesson, you consent to the recording and our use of the recording for those purposes.

If you do not want to be recorded, please tell us before the call or lesson. In some cases, we may not be able to provide the same level of personalized service without a recording or notes from the call or lesson.

21. Community Access

Some students may receive access to the 52 Week Guitar Player Skool community or another community platform.

Community access is a privilege and may be subject to additional rules.

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, insult, or abuse other members

  • Post hateful, discriminatory, explicit, or inappropriate content

  • Spam the community

  • Promote unrelated products or services without permission

  • Share private content from the community outside the community

  • Record, copy, or distribute other members’ content without permission

  • Impersonate another person

  • Disrupt the learning experience of other students

We reserve the right to remove posts, moderate content, suspend community access, or terminate access if we believe a member is violating these Terms or harming the community.

22. Student Submissions

You may submit videos, audio recordings, written updates, screenshots, comments, questions, files, or other materials as part of the service.

You retain ownership of your own submitted content.

By submitting content to us, your teacher, or our community, you grant us permission to use that content as reasonably necessary to provide the service, assess your playing, give feedback, track progress, communicate with you, support your lessons, improve our programs, and operate the business.

We will not publicly use your private practice videos, lesson recordings, images, audio, screenshots, testimonials, or progress updates for marketing without your permission.

If you post inside a community space, your post may be visible to other members, teachers, moderators, and administrators depending on the community settings.

23. Student Content and Copyright

You are responsible for the videos, audio, comments, files, images, songs, performances, and other content you submit, upload, or post.

You agree not to submit, upload, or post content that infringes another person’s rights, including copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

If you submit or post yourself playing music, covers, excerpts, exercises, or other musical material, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of that material is lawful and appropriate for the context.

We may remove content from the community or our platforms if we believe it violates these Terms, infringes another person’s rights, creates legal risk, or is otherwise inappropriate.

24. Testimonials and Marketing Content

If you provide a testimonial, review, screenshot, video, progress story, or other endorsement, we may ask for your permission to use it in marketing.

We will only use your name, image, likeness, practice videos, lesson recordings, screenshots, or personal progress story in public marketing materials if you give us permission.

You may contact us if you want to withdraw permission for future use. We may not be able to remove materials already printed, published, distributed, or used in past campaigns, but we will make reasonable efforts to stop future use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Personal Guitar Trainer, Brandon D’Eon Music Inc., 52 Week Guitar Player, our owners, teachers, contractors, employees, and team members will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes damages related to lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruptions, lack of progress, dissatisfaction with results, inability to access the service, lesson scheduling issues, or claims related to physical discomfort or injury arising from guitar practice or lessons, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
